Celebrate the City Nature Challenge by taking a hike through a rarely explored section of land across the highway from South Carlsbad State Beach, home to protected vernal pools, coastal sage scrub habitat, and California Gnatcatcher territory. This hike, led by State Staff will encourage participants to practice their community science skills while learning about local flora and fauna spotted along the way.
