What You Will Need At The Audition
All auditionees must provide a printed resume with name, address, phone and email contact information, with a recent printed photograph. Snapshots are fine.
Prepare a song and bring sheet music (You will be asked for 16 bars of your song), an accompanist will be provided. If auditioning for the role of Pugsley or Colin, prepare the materials found here.
Adults and Kids (non-advanced dancers) will be asked to participate in a movement/dance combination. Pack/wear clothing and shoes that you are comfortable moving in.
Tips For Your Audition
A couple of things that might be helpful for you to consider ahead of the audition.
- Pick a song that best shows off your voice, whether a ballad or up-tempo number.
- Consider the types of shows in the schedule and pick appropriate material.
- People who are primarily singers are not expected to be polished dancers, but do need to show their movement ability.
