Speed Seeds Dating is a 4 hour event, where 15 people come and garden on a speed dating rotation. You, as the garden venue, decide on the type of tasks you would like people to do. Keeping in mind you may have unexperienced gardeners and people with varying types of disabilities or mobilities. We have 'Cherubs' who act as stewards for the event, these are volunteer friends who have a comprehensive understanding of gardening. They help the 'romancers' find each other, guide them through the gardening tasks, help swap compost buckets, weed buckets and watering cans. While also making sure everyone is safe and refreshed with drinks and snacks.

I am currently applying for creative scotland to fund this project. With that in mind, it may be a while before we can host this event together.
But I am determined to run these events again, and I will be in touch to explore how we can work together.
