Marc Sanders Foundation Case Prize – Submission Form
Submit your original ethics case (300-600 words) exploring the intersection of technology, AI, and ethics. Open to students aged 13-18 worldwide.
The Marc Sanders Foundation Case Prize is open to students who are in high school or younger. Submissions from older students are still welcome and may potentially be selected for use in the competition, with full credit given to the author(s), but older students are not eligible to receive the actual Case Prize.
Prize Details: - $1,000 USD awarded to the student's school to support ethics and philosophy education - $500 USD awarded to the student author(s) - The Modus Ponens Institute reserves the right to divide prizes among up to three winning entries. Deadline: Submissions are due September 30, 2026. Results: Winning cases / results will be released October 7, 2026.
Instructions: - Cases should be between 300-600 words with 3 discussion questions beneath the case - Citations are allowed - Winning entries will be used in the competition - Multiple cases can be submitted per submission.
