Sacred Medicine Sponsorship

This is for individuals who feel called to sponsor and nominate someone to receive a sacred medicine ceremony or retreat experience through Bufo Healing Sanctuary.

A sponsor is someone who chooses to invest in another person's healing journey through an act of sacred generosity. Sponsorship may provide full or partial financial support for an individual who is ready for this work but may not otherwise have the resources to participate.

At Bufo Healing Sanctuary, we believe healing creates a ripple effect. When one person heals, families heal, communities heal, and future generations are positively impacted. Sponsorship is an opportunity to become part of that ripple by helping someone answer the call to healing.

This work is deep, intentional, and transformative. It is not casual or recreational. It is a sacred commitment to healing, truth, personal responsibility, and integration.

Because of the depth of this work, sponsorship does not guarantee acceptance into a ceremony or retreat. Every nominee must complete our application and intake process and demonstrate emotional, physical, and spiritual readiness. Each applicant is carefully reviewed to ensure the experience is appropriate and can be entered safely and with sincere intention.

Scholarship recipients are expected to actively participate in the entire healing journey, including preparation before ceremony, the ceremony itself, and post-ceremony integration. As part of our principle of sacred reciprocity, recipients also agree to share their healing journey through their own authentic voice and participate in sharing their experience publicly. Many sponsors find this especially meaningful, as they are able to witness the positive impact of the opportunity they helped create.

Nominee Readiness & Willingness

Please confirm the following to the best of your knowledge: 

The nominee has been substance-free for a minimum of 3 months

The nominee is not currently taking contraindicated medications

The nominee is mentally and emotionally stable to participate

The nominee is not experiencing active psychosis, mania, or severe instability

The nominee is willing to participate in a discovery call and full intake process

The nominee is open and willing to engage in preparation and integration practices

The nominee understands this is deep inner work, not a quick fix

Honoring Those Who Have Served

Each month, Bufo Healing Sanctuary offers one sponsored private sacred medicine ceremony to a U.S. veteran or first responder through our Sacred Service Scholarship Program.

This scholarship exists because we believe those who have dedicated their lives in service to others deserve the opportunity to receive support on their own healing journey. Through the generosity of our community and scholarship supporters, we are able to offer this opportunity to individuals who feel called to this work.

Program Commitment & Sacred Reciprocity
The Sacred Service Scholarship Program is built upon the principle of sacred reciprocity. As this scholarship is made possible through the generosity of donors and the Bufo Healing Sanctuary community, recipients are asked to give back by sharing their journey in hopes of inspiring others who may also be seeking healing.

By accepting this scholarship, you agree to:

Participate in all required preparation sessions prior to ceremony.
Participate in all required post-ceremony integration sessions.
Be an active participant in your healing journey before, during, and after the ceremony.
Create and share your personal healing story through your own voice and creativity.
Share your experience on your personal social media platforms as part of your sacred reciprocity, helping bring awareness and hope to others who may benefit from this work.
Be open to allowing Bufo Healing Sanctuary to share portions of your journey, testimonial, photos, or videos for educational and inspirational purposes.
Healing continues long after the ceremony ends. We ask each scholarship recipient to honor this commitment as part of receiving this gifted opportunity.

Sacred Responsibility Acknowledgment

This path is one of personal responsibility, surrender, sovereignty, and deep transformation. Sacred medicine is not a cure or a guarantee of any specific outcome. Rather, it is a sacred tool that may support profound self-discovery, healing, and personal growth when approached with intention, respect, and commitment.

By accepting a sponsored ceremony or retreat, the nominee acknowledges their willingness to actively participate in the entire healing journey—not only during the ceremony, but before and after as well.

The nominee agrees to:

Take full responsibility for their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being throughout the journey.
Honor all preparation guidelines prior to ceremony.
Participate fully in required post-ceremony integration sessions.
Approach the experience with honesty, openness, humility, and respect.
Engage with the process even when it feels challenging or uncomfortable, recognizing that healing often unfolds over time.
Treat the sacred medicine, facilitators, fellow participants, and ceremonial space with respect and integrity.
Embrace personal accountability for the choices they make before, during, and after their experience.
Honor the principle of sacred reciprocity by sharing their healing journey in their own authentic voice, recognizing that their story may inspire hope and healing for others who are called to this work.
I understand that Bufo Healing Sanctuary provides a supportive environment for healing but cannot do the inner work on my behalf. I acknowledge that lasting transformation comes through my own willingness to participate, integrate, and apply what I receive throughout my journey.
