  • Because camp capacity is limited, registering a camper reserves a spot that cannot be offered to another child. Families should only register if they can commit to the full camp session.

    The following forms need to be completed and signed prior to registration.
  • SUCCESSFUL BEHAVIOR AGREEMENT 
     
    This agreement outlines the conduct expectation of all the children who attend the summer camp.  Please review this with your child, {camperName}, and sign. Participants will be expected to:     
     
    - Show respect to all participants and staff      
    - Take direction from staff     
    - Use appropriate language at all times     
    - Refrain from causing bodily harm to self, other participants and staff     
    - Show respect to equipment, supplies and facilities   
     
    1. If your child is acting inappropriately, we will explore the problem and assist the child in demonstrating appropriate behavior.  If this is ineffective, we will:     
     
    - Submit a “behavior notice” to the parents or guardians (2 maximum).     
    - A conversation will take place with the group leader and director to discuss further action, if necessary.   
     
    2. If inappropriate behavior continues, the child will be suspended from camp for one day (2 maximum).   
     
    3. If the problem continues, the child will no longer be allowed to continue participating in the camp. 

    4. If a camper intentionally causes bodily harm to another camper or staff member, or intentionally damages Beyond The Natural Foundation (BTNF) program equipment or property, they will be removed from camp immediately. The parent or guardian will be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged equipment or property.

  • VIDEOGRAPHY AND PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT

    I, {parentName}, parent/guardian of {camperName}, hereby

    1. Grant permission to Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc. to reproduce and use my picture, portrait, video images, likeness or voice in connection with the production of still photograph, website photograph, motion pictures, television tape, sound recording, or any other communication media for any and all informational and promotional purposes Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc. deems necessary.

    2. Waive all rights of privacy or compensation, which I may have in connection with the uses of the above-mentioned material for any of the said purposes. Further, I hereby waive my right to inspect and approve the finished product and I discharge Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc., its agents, employees and volunteers from any liability by virtue of the use of the above-mentioned material.

    3. Further release and discharge Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc., from any other claim or payment of royalties by virtue of the use of the said material.

    I agree that all disputes, whether legal, equitable, or otherwise, arising under this agreement and/or arising out of participating with Beyond The Natural Foundation, Inc. are subject to the jurisdiction of Maryland State Courts and shall be decided under the laws, rules, and regulations of the State of Maryland. I further agree that before any claim arising under this agreement and/or arising out of participating with Beyond The Natural Foundation, Inc., may be filed in a court of equity or a court of law, such dispute must be arbitrated in binding arbitration by an arbitrator registered with the American Arbitration Association.

    If any term, provision, covenant or restriction of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction, or a binding arbitrator, to be invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable, the remainder of the terms, provisions, covenants and restrictions set forth herein shall remain in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected, impaired or invalidated, and the parties hereto shall use their commercially reasonable efforts to find and employ an alternative means to achieve the same or substantially the same result as that contemplated by such term, provision, covenant or restriction. It is hereby stipulated and declared to be the intention of the parties that they would have executed the remaining terms, provisions, covenants and restrictions without including any of such that may hereafter be declared invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable.

  • GENERAL LIABILITY WAIVER

    1. I, {parentName}, hereby agree to hold harmless Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc., its agents, employees and volunteers from all liabilities and claims for damages, losses and/or suits for or by reason of any injury, or death to any person or property during a program activity.
    2. I, {parentName}, hereby also agree to hold harmless Beyond the Natural Foundation, Inc., its agents, employees and volunteers from all liabilities, charges, expenses and costs on account for or by reason of any such injuries, deaths, liabilities, claims, suits or losses however occurring or damages growing out of the same.
