  • Arts Placement Application

Arts Placement is a longstanding WAC program designed to provide artists with exposure through partnerships with downtown businesses and hospitality organizations. 2. Artists will be notified via email if they are selected, along with the next steps.
    3. Currently, these exhibits run for a minimum of 6 months at a time, with an option to renew as long as all parties (WAC, Exhibit host, Artist) are agreeable.
    4. All installations and deinstallations will be directed by WAC, the artist will not contact the host agency/business about artwork rotations without permission from WAC.
    5. Artist's bio and website link in the form of a QR code will be on display along with the selected work.
    6. WAC will provide labels for all work on display that will include the artist name, title of the work, medium, size, and price or "not for sale" notificiation.
    7. The artist will not remove or exchange work without prior permission or assistance from WAC.
    8. If at all possible, artist agrees to try to provide a replacement if they need to remove work during the duration of the 6-month exhibit.

    ___________

Please note: The images submitted with this application do not need to be of pieces that are currently available. Pieces submitted in this form are simply used to help us understand your work and artistic style. You may submit your work by uploading photos to the file dropbox below or by providing a link to a portfolio or collection where your work can be viewed (such as a Google Drive folder or website).

If your application is accepted, you will receive access to a folder where you can upload works that are currently available for exhibition. Only the pieces you upload in those folders will be eligible for consideration in an upcoming exhibit.

Accepted artists may occasionally receive notifications from WAC asking them to review and update their folder inventory when new exhibits are being planned. Keeping your folder current will help ensure your work can be considered for relevant opportunities as they arise.
