What are Exhibitor Challenges?
AMCTO Exhibitor Challenges are great ways for you to interact and engage with over 500 municipal delegates during specific tradeshow break times at the conference. They are games designed to bring delegates directly to your booth to strike up a conversation for the chance to win a prize. Benefits include:
- Increased traffic to your booth during the Exhibitor Challenge periods
- Increased brand awareness through conference promotions and advertising
- Verbal recognition of your support during the prize announcements
- Continued networking opportunities when the winning delegate(s) return to your booth to collect their prize
This year, all exhibitor challenges will begin at the start of the day, with game cards being due in at the end of lunch, providing delegates additional time to participate and engage with exhibitors (times are listed within the conference program and will be promoted on the AMCTO conference app, and on our social media).
This year's Exhibitor Challenges are:
Bingo - Sunday, June 7 (9 game card spots available)
- To complete their bingo cards, delegates must visit every exhibitor listed on their game card and receive a 'stamp' to mark the spot (1 line = 1 draw entry, full card = 5 draw entries). Each participating exhibitor will receive a bingo dapper in advance of the game beginning.
Battleship - Monday, June 8 (10 game card spots available)
- To complete their battleship cards, delegates must visit every exhibitor listed on their game card and receive the alphanumeric code location for the 'ship piece' on the board (1 ship = 1 draw entry, full card = 5 draw entries)
Scavenger Hunt - Tuesday, June 9 (9 game card spots available)
- Delegates must correctly answer the clue on their scavenger hunt game card by visiting the corresponding exhibitor. Once they have the clue, they must also collect the exhibitor's secret code to mark this clue as solved on their sheet. Once delegates have solved all their clues and their cards are complete, they can exchange the card for their prize draw tickets (each correct code = one draw ticket). Each participating exhibitor will receive their secret code in advance of the game beginning.
Master Challenge - Sunday, June 7 to Tuesday, June 9
- This challenge will take place across all three days of the exhibitor tradeshow. During that time, delegates will be required to visit every exhibitor to complete their game card. With this extended challenge, delegates will have more time to visit and engage with exhibitors, increasing the opportunities for you to make meaningful connections with conference delegates.
How to Participate
All you need to do to participate is complete this form and have prizes (valued at approx. $100 each) ready to give away!
After the challenges are completed each day, an AMCTO representative will do a draw to announce the prize winners and direct them to your booth to collect their prizes.
We encourage you to use this time for continued networking, to take a picture with the winner(s) and to build your relationship. Year over year the feedback on these challenges from both delegates and participating exhibitors has been highly positive!
If you would like to participate as an exhibitor, please complete this form no later than Friday, April 17 at 5:00pm.
Please note space to participate is limited and game card spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Don't miss out - sign up early!
- Exhibitors can request to participate in any or all of the Sunday-Tuesday Exhibitor Challenges (all exhibitors will be featured on the Master Challenge game card, however it is optional to donate a prize)
- Each Sunday-Tuesday game that an exhibitor signs up for requires a prize donation that is valued at approx. $100 per prize
- Due to the limited number of game card spots available on the Sunday-Tuesday challenges, exhibitors will have the option to have their prize included as part of the draw for the Maser Challenge
- AMCTO will confirm which Exhibitor Challenge(s) your company has been selected for in early May
- Exhibitors will be responsible for bringing their prizes to the conference and for connecting/coordinating with winning delegates to collect or ship their prize(s)
- Exhibitors are welcome to conduct their own prize draws at their booth, however only those prizes that have been confirmed and designated for each Exhibitor Challenge by AMCTO will be announced publicly per per scheduled announcement times within the conference program
