  • From April 16-May 8, 2026, the work of ATHICA members is featured in this annual members’ showcase. As an all-volunteer and membership-based organization, ATHICA serves as a community-hub for artists seeking conversation, collaboration, and a venue for sharing and experiencing contemporary art. The 2026 Members’ Showcase is a prime opportunity for all of these essential components of the arts in Athens.

    New and existing 2026 members are invited to submit a work of their choosing in any media by April 13 , 2026. All submissions are via this online form.

    Artists must deliver their works on Sunday, April 12, from 3-5pm or Monday, April 13, from 5-7pm, unless other arrangements are made.

    Original artworks in any visual media may be entered. Work should have been created within the last two years and not have been shown previously in the Athens area. No reproductions, no works previously shown at ATHICA. No multi-piece works, such as diptychs, triptychs or grids. This includes 2d and 3d works. Sculptures must be one piece.

    Two dimensional work should not exceed four feet in any direction. All 2-D works must be delivered ready to hang with wire.

    Artists with 3-D, video, and performance work should state their presentation needs in order to coordinate options and available space.

    Artists must pick-up their works on Saturday, May 10, 2026 from 3-5pm or Sunday, May 11, 2026, from 3-5pm, unless other arrangements are made.

    An opening reception will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 6-8pm.

  • Please note that ATHICA will refer all sales inquiries directly to the artist, who may choose to donate 30% of the sale back to ATHICA to help sustain the gallery.
