Actors interested in auditioning for Art House's production of RENT can submit a video audition via this form. Audition submissions will be accepted now through Friday, April 17th, 2026. These are preliminary auditions for the production; callbacks will be held in-person after the preliminary audition deadline. We will reach out to selected actors after April 20th to begin offering and scheduling callbacks.
Details/Requirements:
- Both equity and non-equity actors can audition for this production.
- AEA Actors will be hired under the Single Engagement Agreement.
- Please submit one video of a song (30-60 seconds) in the style of the show (musical theatre or rock song).
- The production will be in rehearsals from August 25th, 2026 through September 23rd, 2026. Rehearsals will take place Tuesdays - Sundays, with Mondays as off days. (Rehearsal times TBD).
- Performances run from September 24th through October 18th on Thursdays - Saturdays 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:00pm.
- Actors should be in commuting distance of Art House Productions, 345 Marin Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07302.
Payment: Actors will receive $300 - $604 per week
