  • Join Engineering Outreach from Ontario Tech University for a conference focused on modern technology in the classroom!

We are offering TWO 90-minute webinars on Saturday, April 25, designed specifically for the modern educator to equip them with the skills to more effectively leverage coding and artificial intelligence in a 21st century classroom:

Coding in the Classroom for Educators

Coding is a skill which is becoming more prevalent in our modern world, making it essential for 21st century learners. In this 90-minute webinar, educators can expect to investigate a hands-on coding lesson designed to build confidence in coding skills while simultaneously showcasing a curriculum-connected resource which can be brought directly into classrooms.

Artificial Intelligence for Assessment and Evaluation

One of the most significant advantages of AI is its ability to support in completing certain tasks, allowing for the user to spend more of their time on those tasks that require the human touch. In this 90-minute webinar, educators can expect to explore a wide range of tools which can be used to support assessment and evaluation in the classroom, as well as the affordances and risks associated with each tool.
