Hello Coaches!
Thank you for your interest in the Hmong Wisconsin Chamber of Commerce (HWCC)'s first dance competition at the First Annual Wisconsin Asian Summer Festival. We are proud to be serving the Wisconsin Asian community, and we invite you to join us this June.

Once registration closes and all teams have registered, Hnubhli will send a welcome package via email.
📌 Mandatory Coach Meeting:
A required Zoom meeting will be held - TBA.
Coaches and/or Assistant Coaches must attend.
Overview of Competition and Day
Competition Format
Round 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Break / Showcase: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Round 2: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Judging & Awards: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Rising Teams Showcase
During the 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM break, we are opening the stage to up-and-coming dance teams who may not be competing this year.
This is an opportunity for new or developing teams to:
Perform in front of a live audience
Gain stage experience
Be part of the festival
We encourage teams that are just getting started to take advantage of this opportunity.
Prizes (Per Division)
1st Place – $3,000
2nd Place – $2,000
3rd Place – $1,000
A minimum of 5 teams is required per division. Maximum of 12 teams per division.
Competition Guidelines
To ensure a fair and structured competition:
- If there are not enough teams in a division, categories may be combined
- Teams may choose to compete in the combined division or receive a full refund
- Prize amounts will not change under any circumstances
- All teams must perform two routines
- A minimum 3-hour break will be provided between performances for outfit changes and preparation
Registration is open and will remain open until capacity is reached. Once filled, a waitlist will be made available.
