Executive Director Treasurer Candidate Application Form

The Kansas Nebraska Convention of Southern Baptists (also called “Church Forward”) is seeking a new Executive Director-Treasurer (EDT) to succeed our current leader, who will retire in October 2026.

The Executive Director-Treasurer is responsible for assisting the Convention by leading Convention staff, strategic planning, coordinating the work of the committees, boards, institutions, and corporations of the Convention, as well as budgeting and stewardship of financial and material assets of the Convention. The EDT must communicate the Convention’s purpose to the churches and foster awareness of opportunities for missions and church partnerships. Church Forward is a partnership of more than 430 churches across Kansas and Nebraska. Church Forward’s mission is helping every church forward into their sacred mission.

The Executive Director-Treasurer will be based in Topeka, Kansas—living and serving from the city where the organization’s primary offices are located.
