  • Urgent Care and Emergency Room Referral Policy

    1. We provide 24-hour telephone nurse assistance to help patients distinguish between emergency and non-emergency situations and advise you regarding home care for your child in non-emergency situations. Many situations that our patients believe to be urgent can be safely managed at home and evaluated in our office the following day.
    2. We authorize referrals for non-emergency situations only in the few instances when the phone nurse recommends an after-hours visit due to the urgency of the situation.
    3. The patient may be responsible for paying the entire visit if it is deemed non-emergent or without approval from the phone nurse. Our office will not provide a referral.
    4. It is your responsibility to share this information with other family members who might be caring for your child.
  • After-Hours Telephone Number 501-329-1199

  • The Conway Regional operator will connect you to the Kids Care nurse at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
  • In a true medical emergency you should call 911 or go immediately to the emergency room. For true emergencies, we are not asked to give a referral.
  • I have read and signed The Children's Clinic of Conway & Greenbrier Urgent Care and Emergency Room Referral Policy.
