    ● These classes are open to any under-saddle horse born in Virginia.
    ● 7 classes for amateurs and youth (nonpro).
    ● 2 classes for open competitors.
    ● Eligibility for non pros is based on AQHA criteria: “Any horse exhibited in the youth or amateur
    division must be solely owned by the contestant showing the horse or the contestant’s immediate
    family.” Please see AQHA rules for additional information on leasing show horses.
    ● Classes run after the all-breed classes listed below.

    Entry fee is $50 per class 

    Added money payouts TBD, based on participation

    50% of Entry fees will be jackpotted (minus $5 for each entry to be allocated to VQHA) with payouts as follows:

    Prizes and awards. 

    Buckles to high-point horse in 2 non pro divisions:

    Division 1: HUS, WP, halter

    Division 2: Ranch classes

    Sire or dam of entered horses may be nominated. This is optional. Nominators receive publicity for their mare/stallion through the VQHA newsletter and Facebook posts

    Nomination fee is $10 fee per sire or dam (not paid by lifetime program members)

    Important procedures. Whether you are entering only Virignia-bred classes or other classes, you will need to go to the office to get your number and pay any additional fees required by the show (judges fee, haul in fee, etc). Va-Bred classes do not count for flat fee rates. They are separate from the rest of the show. Enter online or pay by check (made out to VQHA Va-Bred)

    Presentation of buckles/payouts. Exhibitors may pick up class ribbons. Buckles and payouts will be mailed pending confirmation of results and payment of fees by all exhibitors.
