Just a few reminders and updates as we kick off a new semester.
1. Drop-off ends at 10:30 a.m., and pick-up starts after 3:00 p.m. unless there is an emergency or prior arrangements are made. Our staff is busy in the back with the children. Exterior doors will be locked from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. You will need to be buzzed in. This also applies to school-aged children.
2. We have age group teams. While your child has a main teacher, they will come in contact with the other teacher in that age group and a float that will assist several classes.
3. Anything specific to your child (nap mat, cups/bottles, lunchbox/backpack, etc.) You MUST have your child's name on it.
4. Children should wear closed-toe shoes at all times. Open-toe sandals are not safe for a childcare setting. Children need to keep their shoes on throughout the day.
5. Only door-dash and delivery lunches will be allowed in emergency cases. All lunches must be in the child's classroom by 11:30 a.m.
6. Limit items that need to be warmed (18 months and up). Food that needs to be warmed will only be warmed for 30 seconds. Lunches that do not need to be warmed are preferred.
7. Your child must be potty trained by age three, or the family must intentionally work on potty training the child. The three's classrooms are not equipped for the same diapering load as the two classrooms.
8. Make sure you are signing your child in and out for the day. Every pick-up person has a unique code. There is no need to hand out your code. We will provide anyone who is on your child's pick-up list with their unique code when they show ID.
9. Please communicate through the Procare app. Information passed verbally at the front during drop-off is not the best form of communication during busy hours. If you want to have a verbal conversation, you may request one through Procare, and we can set a time. Messaging on Procare allows your child's teacher, team, and directors to be on the same page in one message.
10. Credit card payments will be made online only at www.myprocare.com, and cash or checks are accepted at the front.
11. The fastest way to get to a director directly, outside of Procare, is through their director's email or phone. (Brandi - asstdir@retta.org) The general rclc@retta.org is more for inquiry and general public purposes.
12. We post important dates on the front desk and make announcements on the Procare app. Please ensure you look for updates on the front desk and through the app.
13. Please do not come in to pick up or drop off your child on your phone.
14. Remember, we need a copy when you update your child's shots.
15. For tuition assistance, we accept CCMS, which helps qualified families through the Workforce Commission.
