Guided Field Trip Request

Thank you for your interest in the Detroit Riverfront parks and greenways. We offer guided field trips from Detroit Riverfront Conservancy staff throughout the school year and summer. We are fully booked for guided field trips in April, May, and early June of 2026. Additional field trip opportunities are available after June 5th and throughout the summer and fall of 2026.

Field trips can happen throughout our Riverfront spaces. Please indicate which location you would like to use for your desired field trip. It is recommended to choose one location; however, guided field trips to more than one location are available by request. Please enter at least 3 dates, in order of preference, that you would like to schedule your visit. These dates are a request. Staff from the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy will review your request and contact you to confrim the date. PLEASE NOTE: There is NO indoor space at Ralph Wilson Park and the Detroit Riverfront. The field trip will be fully outdoors, so only spring, summer, and fall dates should be requested.

For field trips to Ralph Wilson Park and/or other Detroit Riverfront spaces, we recommend about 2-3 hours. This leaves enough time for an educational program, play/recreation, and exploration of the park. Full day field trips are available by request.
