Thank you for your service with ArtsEd Washington's Community Ambassador program or Board of Directors during the previous year!
As cohorts change from year to year, you might find that your unique skills could better suit the Board of Directors OR the Ambassador Program. We invite you to share what you are most interested in pursuing for next year.
And we hope you will help us grow by encouraging new folks from your community to join us as well!
Board Members
Are leaders with knowledge and skills such as:
-Advocacy and systems change
-Community engagement and PR
-Educational leadership
-Financial oversight and fundraising
-Organizational development
And want to:
-Ensure the successful implementation of AEW’s Mission
-Deepen your understanding of equity and arts in our schools
-Impact arts education at the regional and statewide level
-Attend 1 virtual meeting or asynchronous conversation per month
-Contribute financially through donations or fundraising
-Expand your networking with other regional leaders
-Serve for at least one term of approximately 2 years from original application
Community Ambassadors
Are connected with local arts, education, or equity work such as:
-School employee or retiree
-College student studying arts and/or education
-Professional artist who partners with local schools
-Local business person who supports local schools
-Parent/guardian of a student who loves the arts
And want to:
-Share about your community with other Ambassadors
-Learn more about arts education in your schools
-Expand your local network
-Attend 1 virtual meeting or asynchronous conversation per month
-Establish a deeper connection with ArtsEd Washington
-Advocate for the arts in your local school system
-Serve for at least one term of approximately 1 year from original application
