Credit Transfer Eligibility
High school students who complete any part of their studies outside of Hybridge Academy may want to add their independent studies to their accredited Hybridge transcript. Students are eligible to add transfer credits to their transcript after they have been enrolled at Hybridge for one full academic year (two semesters).
When completing the Credit Transfer Form, we will ask for at least 3 forms of relevant documentation from the instructor. Examples of relevant documentation can include, but are not limited to:
- Completed and graded assignments (classwork, projects, homework, etc)
- Essays/Papers
- Progress Reports
- Attendance Logs
- Lesson Plans
- Photographs or videos
- Instructor Testimony (3-5 sentences)
In the case of credits like art, theater, physical education, etc, three forms of documentaion are not required. Instead, the only required documentation will be an instructor testimony, describing their experience with the student in class (academically, behaviorally, socially), materials/topics covered, reflections on their progress, etc.
