2026 Pageant Guidelines

All contestants for the North Judson Mint Festival Little Mister and Little Miss Title are required to have 2 outfits for the pageant.

Summer Oufit-Should be 2 fingers wide for shoulder straps, be at least the length of the contestant's fingers for shorts, and have no mid-drift. No pants with holes. No flip flops. Contestants will wear this to the pageant.

Formal Outfit-Contestants will change into this at intermission. One parent/guardian per contestant will be allowed in the back to help their child with outfit change.

To Qualify as a Little Mister/Miss Contestant
- Must reside in Starke County, IN or attend a Starke County School. Children who are too young to attend school must have a sibling who attends Starke County Schools or an immediate family member who resides in Starke County.
- Must be between 4-8 years of age on the day of the pageant June 6, 2026.
- Must register on or before May 1, 2026, along with a $50 entry fee. A fundraiser is not required.
- Mint Fest Opening Ceremony- Friday June 19, 2026 @ 4PM at Norwayne Field
- Mint Festival Parade- Sunday June 21, 2026
Bullying of parents or children will not be tolerated.

As a representative of the Mint Festival, you are to conduct yourself with respect, courtesy, and pride at all times.

There is no admission fee to attend the Mint Festival Pageant; however, donations are appreciated.

I understand that if I win, and this is my first fair/festival pageant win of 2026, my first loyalty shall be to the North Judson Mint Festival. As such it is recommended that I not participate in any other fair/festival pageants in 2026 for a royalty title. If I do, and I receive another royalty title, I agree to represent the North Judson Mint Festival in area parades and community events not directly associated with the additional royalty pageant I have won.

You may be asked to make other community appearances and will need to wear your crown and sash.
