The Importance of Confidentiality
Because of the sensitive nature of abortion recovery, confidentiality is essential. Many women share deeply personal experiences, often for the first time. As a volunteer, you are entrusted with this vulnerability. Volunteers in this area are minimal and require an interview, training, additional conversations and approval.
All personal information, stories, and identities shared within this ministry must remain private and protected. This is not only a matter of respect it is critical to maintaining trust and emotional safety.
