    6:00 pm - 6:50 pm PT (Vancouver Time)

    This workshop will be conducted via Google Meets. The class link will be sent to the parent/guardian’s email address provided during registration, as part of the confirmation. Please make sure all the information you have provided in this registration form is accurate to the best of your abilities.

  • Level 3 Eligibility Options

    To ensure students are placed at the right level, participants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

    Has already attended at least 5 sessions of any of our previous 3D Modelling / Printing Level 2 workshops

    OR

    Complete a short placement quiz
     

  • Did the student attend at least 5 sessions of any of our previous 3D Modelling / Printing Level 2 workshops?
  • If you selected "Yes", please skip the short placement quiz on the next page and proceed with registration.

    If you selected "No", the student needs to complete the short placement quiz on the next page, and then proceed with registration. 

  • Level 3 Placement Quiz

    Students who wish to attend our Level 3 workshop and have not attended at least four sessions in the Level 1 workshop are required to complete the short placement quiz below. This is a closed-book quiz, meaning no external resources should be used. Please answer each question to the best of your ability.

    If you have attended at least four sessions of the Level 2 workshop, please scroll down and skip the quiz to proceed with registration.

  • 2. What does it mean to move, rotate, and resize shapes in a 3D modelling?
  • 3. What does it mean to group shapes together to make one object in Tinkercad?
  • 4. What does it mean to make a hole in a shape using the “Hole” tool in Tinkercad?
  • 5. Do you know what a 3D slicer does?
  • 6. What does it mean to export a model as an STL file?
  • 7. If you were asked to build a simple house using basic shapes on Tinkercad, could you do it?
  • 8. What does a 3D printer use to create objects?
  • 9. How does a FDM 3D printer actually makes an object?
