The Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat is hosted by Bikram Yoga Fitzroy, referred to in
the Terms and Conditions as BYF. The retreat Leaders are Susan & Michael
Houghton, owners, and teachers at BYF, and Tereza Bonnet-Senkova, owner, and teacher at Bikram Yoga Prague. The Bali Organizers of the retreat are Ubud Yoga Centre, and Jessica Brown.
The Retreat Package includes the following:
• 8 nights’ accommodation at the Bali Spirit Hotel & Spa.
• Daily breakfast at the hotel
• Daily morning Bikram Yoga classes, includes 1 towel & mat, and a fresh
coconut after each Bikram class.
• 5 Upskill Workshops at the Bali Spirit Hotel Shala
• 4 Ceremonies & 3 Excursions
• 4 group meals + 5 menu lunches
• 1-hour free massage
• Free time for personal exploration, shopping or relaxing
The Retreat Package does not include the following:
• Airfare to and from Bali
• Transfers from Denpasar airport to Ubud, and return (note arrangements
can be made for these transfers)
• Passport, visa, and other travel tax costs
• Health & Travel Insurance
• Travel vaccinations
• Extra yoga classes, and extra towel & mat hire
• Meals & activities not listed in package
• Various optional excursions and optional therapy sessions
Payment Policy
• An initial AUD $500 deposit is required to make your booking
• Full payment is required within 3 weeks of making a booking to secure your reservation
• Payments may be made by either a direct funds transfer to the Account Details below,
or in reception at Bikram Yoga Fitzroy

Waitlist Policy
If the BYF Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat is fully booked, we can add your name to our waitlist upon receiving a written request. If a place then becomes available, we will contact you, and full payment will be due immediately.
Cancellation by Retreat Participant (contact Bikram Yoga Fitzroy)
• If you cancel at least 90 days before the Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat start date, 100% of your full payment will be refunded
• If you cancel 60 – 89 days before the Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat start day, 75% of your full payment will be refunded
• If you cancel 15 to 59 days before the Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat start day, 40% of your full payment will be refunded
• If you cancel 14 days or less before the Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat start date, or after the Immersion has begun, you forfeit your entire payment
Cancellation by BYF
If for any reason the Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat is cancelled by BYF, your full payment to BYF will be refunded.
BYF, however, is not responsible for any other expenses, due to a cancellation, such as airline tickets, loss of work income, and/or other costs associated with preparations for your Bali Retreat and Upskilling.
Travel Cancellation Insurance
No one books a holiday with the intention of cancelling; however unexpected events may occur, and we strongly recommend that you purchase travel cancellation insurance for your Bali holiday.
Depending on the policy and conditions, various travel cancellation insurance policies will pay for some, or all cancellation fees.
Your insurance should also cover any baggage loss or damage.
With most travel agencies, travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your flight reservations
Medical Conditions and Risks
We will provide a nurturing and safe environment and our BYF Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat is thoughtfully planned, but no responsibility will be taken for any injury or illness during our Bali Retreat and Upskilling.
We advise you to consult with your GP regarding travel vaccinations and any pre-existing medical conditions that may impact upon your travel plans.
Travel Health Insurance
No one books a holiday with the intention of becoming ill and injured, however unexpected events may occur, and we strongly recommend that you purchase travel health insurance for your Bali Bikram Yoga Retreat.
Baggage Loss or Damage
Each traveler shall be responsible for their own baggage. Any baggage loss or damage sustained while in the custody of an airline, hotel, bus or transfer company is not the responsibility of BYF.
Release/Responsibility
I agree that BYF and its representatives, except for their gross negligence or willful misconduct, shall not be held liable for any injury, damage, loss or delay that may be occasioned for any reason to me, including, but not limited to, any defect in a vehicle, the acts or default of any company engaged in conveying a participant, acts of God, terrorism, acts of war, or detention; delays or expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, accidents by aircraft, boat, bicycle or motor vehicle or in any restaurant or accommodation; failure of any means of transportation to arrive or depart as scheduled or changes in transit, or villa services; missed airline or other
transportation connections; or any additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs or itinerary.
