Volunteers - Self-Care Social™
  • Join the Self-Care Social™ Team

  • We're so glad you want to be part of the experience! Self-Care Social™ is Chicago’s premier immersive, multi-sensory experience, designed to create space for guests to rest, recharge and pour into themselves.

This is more than volunteering. It’s helping create a space people truly need. Our volunteers play a key role in bringing that vision to life. We're looking for warm, reliable, and service-minded individuals who are aligned with the energy of this experience. Spots are limited and filled on a rolling basis. A mandatory virtual orientation will be held prior to the event.

  • Before You Apply

  • A branded volunteer shirt will be provided. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes — you may be on your feet and moving throughout the venue for the duration of your shift.

    Volunteer Shifts:

    • Morning: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
    • Afternoon: 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM
    • All Day: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (includes a 30-minute wellness break for eating and shopping)

All volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their shift for a brief team meeting and role briefing.

Getting There: We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or SpotHero for parking. Free street parking is also available nearby, with a short walk to the venue. Artifact Events is easily accessible via the Brown CTA line.

Pre-Event Volunteer Orientation: A mandatory virtual orientation will be held prior to the event. The date, time, and meeting link will be sent to all confirmed volunteers via email.

You are warmly welcome to arrive before your shift or stay after to enjoy the event — explore the marketplace, activations, and take in the full Self-Care Social™ experience.

If you are confirmed and find yourself running late or unable to attend, please notify us promptly. Reliability is one of the most important qualities we look for in our volunteer team.

This is a fast-paced, guest-facing environment — we're looking for volunteers who are proactive, attentive, and ready to support wherever needed.

Volunteer shifts will be assigned after your application is reviewed. Please complete all required fields. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
