Want to become a Certified Lay Minister in the Global Methodist Church? For our 2026 Training, we will be offering two different tracks for completing the required courses:

Fall 2026 Immersion Weekend Cohort
Online Cohort that will meet every other Monday night throughout the year starting in the fall and finishing in the spring.

All two cohorts will offer the same five courses: Foundational, Bible, Leadership/Admin, Preaching, and Worship.

A total of Five Courses are required to become a CLM. The Foundational and Bible Courses are required, as well as three Specialized Courses. To foster community and shared development, we will be offering two “cohorts” over the course of 2026 with each cohort having the opportunity to go through Foundational, Bible, and three specialized courses (Leadership, Preaching, and Worship) together.

Online Cohort – Meets via Zoom over a series of Monday evenings starting September 2026. Sessions will be held from 7-9 pm, approximately every other Monday.

February 2026: Worship
March 2026: Follow-up and Completion

Fall Immersion Weekend Cohort Meets from 1pm on Thursday, October 22nd through 3pm on Sunday, October 25th. Participants will be responsible for their own travel and lodging arrangements.
