JPF 250 Good Works
  • 250 Good Works

Our Jesuit Parish Family continues its call to be transformed in the Body of Christ—bringing hope and healing to our world. Rooted in our faith and in the example of Jesus, we are called to give, to evangelize, and to serve. As the United States commemorates the 250th anniversary of our nation in 2026, we invite you to join our parish family in a special effort to bring healing to our community. With that spirit, our parish plans to complete more than 250 Good Works between Memorial Day (May 25) and Independence Day (July 4).
  • What are Works of Mercy?

The Works of Mercy in Catholicism are charitable actions, divided into seven corporal (bodily) and seven spiritual acts, that extend God's compassion to others. Rooted in Matthew 25, they are essential to faith, addressing both physical and spiritual needs to love one's neighbor and serving Christ directly.

    Let's Hear From You!

After you have completed your good work(s) individually, or as a group, please record it below. We have a team that will be creating an installation of paper doves—inspired by peace and healing—in the narthex. It will be a special way of visualizing our positive impact as we celebrate the weekend of our nation's anniversary.
