• 2026 P.ink Days Tattoo Application

  • Welcome and thank you for your interest in applying for a P.ink Day event!

Please note that only one submission per applicant is allowed. If you submit multiple applications, only the first submission will be considered.

Recipients who have received a tattoo from past P.ink Days do not qualify to apply again.

After submitting your application, we ask for your patience as you wait to hear back from us. We are unable to respond to individual inquiries about the status of your application or whether or not you were matched. However, you will get a confirmation email after you submit your application with a copy of your responses. Please double check your email address and phone number before submitting your application, and check your spam folder if you are not seeing the confirmation email.

NOTE: It may take up to 4-6 weeks after applications close for P.ink Day locations to finalize their recipient lists and communicate results with everyone. When applying, you have the option to indicate a second choice location, which may further extend the timelines, but offers you a better chance of being matched with an available artist.

With Love - The P.ink Team

  • Have you previously applied for a P.ink Day event, but were not matched with an artist?*
  • If you are not matched with an artist at your 1st or 2nd choice location, would you be willing to travel to another P.ink Day location with openings?*
  • Qualification Questions

In order for our artists to do their best work, and for recipients to have the most positive experience possible, we ask that certain criteria are met. Please review all of the statements below and answer to the absolute best of your ability. If you do not qualify at this time, we encourage you to try again in the future if and when your circumstances change.
  • 1.) I have had a mastectomy (single or bilateral), and I am seeking a decorative tattoo over my mastectomy site. I understand that P.ink does not provide nipple/areola tattoo/s, side or under-breast tattoos, or port or TRAM scar tattoos as part of P.ink Days.*
  • 2.) I am at least two years out from my last surgery and have no pending surgeries. (Note that some scars can take longer to heal and it will be up to the artists to determine whether they can achieve a good outcome for you or whether it would be better for you to wait.)*
  • 3.) I agree that I will receive a tattoo that can be completed in 5-6 hours. A good frame of reference is a medium, open-hand sized tattoo. If I want more than that, it's my responsibility to make those arrangements with my artist well ahead of time, I must offer to pay my artist for additional sessions, and inform my event organizer of those arrangements. I also understand that my artist may have a busy schedule and may not be able to schedule a follow-up session with me for some time.*
  • 4.) I understand that I will be matched with an artist who is best suited to execute my design ideas. My artist is the expert and will have the final say on design composition and placement, as they understand what will work best with my body and scars.*
  • 5.) I understand that I will see my draft tattoo design the morning of the P.ink Day event and the opportunity for adjustments will be available at that time. There will be a mandatory phone/video or in-person consultation with my artist to discuss design ideas prior to that.*
  • 6.) I am able to fully commit to the P.ink Day date and location I am applying for.*
  • 7.) I understand that I am allowed to bring one adult guest who may attend the opening ceremony at the beginning of the event and come back for my reveal and closing ceremony at the end of the event. Unfortunately, guests cannot be accommodated at the tattoo shops for the entire day.*
  • 8.) I agree that any travel related expenses are my responsibility should I choose to travel to this event.*
  • 9.) I agree that images of my tattoo from the P.ink Day event may be used by Personal Ink for marketing purposes.*
  • 10.) I agree that photos that may include my face that are taken during the P.ink Day may be used by Personal Ink/F Cancer for marketing purposes.*
  • About You and Your Tattoo Ideas

Should your situation change in the future we hope you will consider applying again.

    Wishing you all the best,

    The P.ink Team

  • Tattoo Styles

Tattoo styles are the different techniques and designs used in tattooing. When choosing a tattoo design, this is the primary consideration.

It's important to be familiar with the variety of styles available. Qualified applicants are matched with available artists at our P.ink Day locations based on how well the styles that an applicant is interested in align with the skillsets of the artists. So the more styles you are open to, the better your chance of being matched with an artist at the location you have applied to.

In the section below, we'll ask you to indicate which styles you are interested in getting.

A few things to keep in mind:

    • Not all shops have artists who are able to tattoo in all styles. This is particularly true for more specialty styles like watercolor or abstract.
    • Not all artists work in color.
    • Depending on the nature of your scarring, not all tattoo styles may be recommended.
      • For example: Heavy scarring and/or radiation burns may not lend themselves to fineline work. If you select this style, your artist may recommend adjustments based on your body to achieve a good result (i.e. varying the line weight or adding shading/color to areas with texture).

    Tattoo Style Definitions:

    • BOLD / TRADITIONAL / NEO-TRADITIONAL - bolder designs featuring black outlines with varied line weights and levels of shading
    • FINE LINE - very thin, delicate lines to create designs with minimal shading
    • MINIMAL / DECORATIVE - small details that accentuate or frame, rather than hide, the canvas
    • WATERCOLOR - bright colors and abstract designs mimicking the appearance of a watercolor painting
    • ORNAMENTAL / GEOMETRIC - intricate, often symmetrical patterns like mandalas, dotwork, and geometry
    • ABSTRACT - free form, fluid style shapes, patterns, or lines

In the section below please select as many styles as you like. Remember, the more styles you are willing to consider, the better chance you have of being matched with an available artist. Click on an image to select that style. Click again to deselect.

  • Do you have your heart set on a specific color scheme? Please keep in mind that not all artists offer color.*
  • Tattoo Design Examples (5 images required)

Please upload 5 photos or sketches that show examples of the style of tattoo you are considering. A great way to get inspiration is to look at the Personal Ink instagram and/or website.
