The Miss Maryland Charm Collective is a supplimental program for older 12 and 13 year olds who are interested in gaining experience prior to their year of teen eligibility. They must not meet the age requirements for the 2027 competition. It is in conjunction with the official Maryland state chapter of the Miss America's Little Sisters mentor Program, the Chesapeake Charmers. They will NOT be paired with a mentor/contestant, rather, we invite all young girls who want to participate to join us for events leading up to the crowning of Miss Maryland and Miss Maryland's Teen and beyond!
Our Charm Collective Receive (approx $500 value):
- Official Charm Collective Sash
- Two Tickets to Miss Maryland’s Prelims and Finals (Collective participant and Chaperone)
- Headshot in Official Miss Maryland Program Book
- One Ticket to the Countdown to the Crown Luncheon (Charm Collective participant)

Charm Collective Requirements:
Age:
- Charm Collective paricipants must NOT be age eligible to be a 2027 teen contestant. Currently 12 or 13 years of age.
Availability:
- Charm Collective will attend the Miss Maryland Countdown to the Crown Luncheon with Miss Maryland's Teen and Miss Maryland on Saturday, May 1st, 2027.
- Charm Collective will attend the Miss Maryland Competition on the evenings of June 23 through June 26, 2027.
- Charm Collective will participate in Red Carpet event
- Charm Collective will attend the Muffins with Mentors Morning on June 26, 2027.
Clothing:
Countdown to the Crown Luncheon and Miss Maryland's Teen Finals
- Charm Collective participants will be responsible for providing their own formal dress. It can be the same one worn for the luncheon and finals. We encourage you to show off your personal style and wear something that makes you feel confident! It may be short, tea length, or floor length.
- For the Red Carpet event, Charm Collective participants should wear a formal white dress. Can be short or floor length.
- Charm Collective will wear their official Charm Collective sash provided by the Miss Maryland Scholarship Opportunity.
Muffins with Mentors Morning
- Charm Collective participants should wear pink dress, pink jumpsuit, pink outfit, or pink top with white bottoms. Think cocktail party, put together, a little dressy but comfortable. They will wear their sash.
Cost:
- The 2027 Charm Collective fee is $125. Thank you for supporting the Miss Maryland Scholarship Opportunity programs!

- Appear in the Chesapeake Charmers/Charm Collective Showcase section of the program - $250 half page ad or $500 full page ad (Full page ad gets a free Official Miss Maryland Program Book)
