The Wedding Market – Exhibitor Terms & Conditions
By submitting an application and making payment, exhibitors acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
Participation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required payment. Space allocations are not guaranteed until payment has been received and acknowledged by the Event Organizers.
2. Non-Transferable Booking
Exhibitor spaces are strictly non-transferable. Bookings are approved for the specific business named on the application and may not be transferred, assigned, sold, or otherwise exchanged with another individual or company without the prior written consent of the Event Organizers.
3. No Subletting or Space Sharing
Exhibitors may not sublet, share, rent, or permit another business, brand, or individual to occupy, promote, advertise, display, or sell products or services from their allocated space unless prior written approval has been obtained from the Event Organizers.
Any exhibitor found in breach of this condition may be required to remove the unauthorized party immediately and may forfeit the right to continue exhibiting without compensation or refund.
4. No Refund Policy
All payments made towards participation in The Wedding Market are final and non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued in the event of:
- Cancellation by the exhibitor.
- Failure to attend the event.
- Change of business circumstances.
- Inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances beyond the organizers' control where the event proceeds as scheduled.
- Should the Event Organizers postpone the event due to circumstances beyond their control, all payments will be transferred to the new event date and will remain non-refundable.
5. Payment Terms
Invoices must be settled by the payment deadline stated on the invoice. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking, and any deposits or partial payments already made will be forfeited unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Event Organizers.
6. Failure to Occupy Space
Exhibitors must occupy their allocated space by the designated setup completion time communicated by the Event Organizers.
Any exhibitor who has not occupied their space by the specified time, and who has not notified the organizers of a delay, may have their space reassigned without notice. No refund or credit will be issued for unoccupied or forfeited spaces.
7. Space Usage
Exhibitors must operate only within the boundaries of their assigned market space. Displays, signage, promotional materials, and merchandise must not obstruct neighbouring exhibitors, public walkways, or emergency exits.
8. Approved Products & Services
Only products and services approved during the application process may be displayed, promoted, or sold. The Event Organizers reserve the right to request the removal of any item or activity deemed unsuitable or inconsistent with the standards of The Wedding Market.
9. Professional Conduct
Exhibitors are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event. Aggressive selling practices, offensive behaviour, excessive noise, or actions that negatively affect attendees or fellow exhibitors may result in removal from the event without refund.
10. Organizer's Rights
The Event Organizers reserve the right to:
- Reallocate exhibitor spaces where operational requirements make it necessary.
- Refuse or cancel participation where an exhibitor fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
- Amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary to ensure the safe and successful operation of the event.
11. Force Majeure and Limitation of Liability
The Event Organizers shall not be held liable for any delay, postponement, interruption, modification, or cancellation of The Wedding Market arising from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, pandemic or epidemic, government regulations or restrictions, civil unrest, labour disputes, acts of terrorism, utility failures, venue closures, or any other unforeseen event.
In such circumstances, the Event Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, costs, expenses, loss of profits, travel expenses, accommodation costs, or other consequential losses incurred by exhibitors.
Where reasonably possible, exhibitor payments will be transferred to a rescheduled event date or a future edition of The Wedding Market. No refunds or compensation shall be payable as a result of any such event beyond the reasonable control of the Event Organizers.
The Wedding Market constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions
