    Break-out activity; a Camptivity may need to be assigned by camp director for registrations received after July 1
  • S'More Jesus - Girls will make a craft while enjoying a snack.

    Happy Faces - Girls will choose from a selection of designs to get their face painted.

    Son In Your Eyes - Girls will create custom sunglasses.

    Breakout activities may have a camper limit and are assigned through a "first-come, first served" process.
  • Tuesday Camptivities

     

    • Kindness Knots - Girls will create a beaded bracelet.
    • Bag It - Girls will decorate a butterfly bag.

    • Sugar Scrub - Girls will create a homemade sugar scrub. - FULL

     

    Girls will do a campwide line dance activity for the first session.

    Camptivities will be select for all girls registering after the July 1 deadline.

  • Wednesday Camptivities

    • Two Man Swing - Girls will do one of the HP Retreat Center activities of swinging on the large swing. This activity is $20.
    • Bible Charms - Girls will create a bible chain with charms. - FULL
    • Happy Faces - Girls will choose from a selection of designs to get their face painted. - FULL
    • S'More of Jesus - Girls will create a craft and enjoy a snack.
    • Sign Language - Girls learn a sign language song to preform during skit night.
    • Dance for Jesus - Girls will learn a dance to preform during skit night.

    • Balloon Fun - Girls will create balloon creations.
    • Active for Jesus - Girls will play outdoor sports.

    • Fisherman Bracelets - Girls will create a fisherman bracelet.
    • Diamond Art - Girls will create diamond art.
    • Palms of Praise - Girls will learn a cheer dance to preform during skit night.

    HPRC is committed to the safety and well-being of its staff and guests. This plan exists in order to satisfy those needs and to outline the steps to be taken to prepare for and respond to an emergency affecting the camp.

    We are committed to the safety and inclusion of all campers. Campers who have physical, sensory, or medical conditions that may limit their ability to independently follow standard emergency procedures will be provided with additional support. Please let group leaders know before arrival of needs.

    NOTE: If an extended power outage occurs, our established emergency policy requires that all guests vacate the premises if water service cannot be restored within 24 hours. This ensures the health and safety of all occupants and prevents any prolonged interruption of essential services.

  • FLOODPLAIN NOTICE

    Portions of the HPRC property used for daytime activities are located within a designated floodplain.

    No sleeping cabins are located entirely within the floodplain. One cabin porch borders the floodplain boundary; the sleeping structure is not within the floodplain. An emergency roof-access ladder is installed as required by Texas law.
