By scheduling and using our cleaning services, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Scope of Services
Our cleaning services are limited to the tasks agreed upon at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse or decline any service that is deemed unsafe, hazardous, or outside the agreed scope.
2. Safety Restrictions Staff will not climb higher than a 3-step ladder, move furniture heavier than 25 lbs, or handle biohazards (animal waste, mold, blood).
3. Surface Safety
Only approved cleaning agents are used. The Tidy Team does not guarantee the removal of stains on delicate surfaces like natural stone.
4. Condition of Premises
The Client is responsible for ensuring the premises are in a condition suitable for cleaning. Excessive clutter, biohazards, pest infestations, or unsafe conditions may result in refusal of service or additional charges.
5. Damage and Liability
While we take reasonable care in providing services, we are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or deterioration of items or surfaces
Damage resulting from faulty or improper installation of fixtures or materials
Items not secured properly (e.g., loose fixtures, wall hangings)
Any claims for damage must be reported within 24–48 hours of service completion.
6. Valuables and Personal Property
Clients are responsible for securing or removing valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items prior to service. We are not responsible for loss or damage to such items unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please notify us within 24 hours. We may offer to return and re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. Refunds are issued at our discretion.
8. Pets
Please safelt secure all pets for their safety and ours.
9. Access to Property
The Client must provide safe and timely access to the property. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees.
10. Payment Terms
Payment is due as agreed at the time of booking. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as permitted under Virginia law.
11. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
12. Independent Contractor Status
We operate as an independent service provider and are not responsible for any obligations beyond those expressly stated in this agreement.
13. Compliance with Virginia Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, our liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid for the service.

By booking our services, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer.
