  • Travel

  • International Participants: It important to understand that the "US Customs and Boarder Protection" has a general rule, that passports must be valid for six months beyond the date the traveler will exit the United States.

  • Visas and Immigration

  • For international participants, it is important to enter the United States on the appropriate visa type.

While obtaining a B-1/B-2 Visitor Visa is not mandatory, it is often more appropriate for individuals who plan to attend structured programs, participate in industry meetings, and engage in educational and professional development activities.

Travel under the Visa Waiver Program (ESTA) is generally intended for tourism and short visits. While limited activities such as meetings or short recreational courses may be permitted, participants should ensure that their planned activities remain consistent with the conditions of entry.

The B-1/B-2 visa can also provide greater flexibility for:

    • Attending meetings with industry professionals
    • Participating in educational and training-based environments
    • Supporting future travel to and from the United States as your career develops

Participants are responsible for ensuring they comply with all U.S. immigration requirements and should seek independent advice where needed.

Diversity Pictures does not provide immigration or legal advice, and participation in this program does not guarantee visa approval or future eligibility for visas such as the O-1.
