  • Rental Policy

  • Leaders of all rental groups are required to review and understand Good Spirit Bible Camp's rental group policies listed below and to affirm their agreement with these policies by signing the rental application form. Good Spirit Bible Camp is a Christian ministry dedicated to honouring Christ in all aspects of camp life. Our desire is to create a welcoming environment for people of various backgrounds and to serve each guest lovingly. In turn, those visiting while on site are asked to respect our values and refrain from publicly or collectively engaging in practices or promoting beliefs that are contrary to our beliefs, values, and mission. The Camp reserves the right to restrict or discontinue any activity that is inconsistent with this commitment.

     

    • Renters must designate a group leader who is always present on-site. This person is responsible for ensuring policies are maintained.


    • Guests are required to bring their own bedding and towels for overnight stays in the cabins.


    • Any accident, injury, or emergency that occurs on property must be reported immediately to Camp staff.


    • Renters are responsible for overseeing and providing for participants’ medical needs, medications, and first aid during the rental period.


    • Abuse, harassment, bullying, or inappropriate behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.


    • The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on camp property – alcohol, illegal drugs, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, tobacco, vaping, firearms, weapons, fireworks, explosives, and explicit or offensive materials.


    • The Camp is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.


    • Facilities may only be used as assigned and furniture or equipment may not be moved without permission.


    • All decorations must be installed in a manner that does not cause damage.


    • Quiet hours are observed from 11:00pm to 7:00am.


    • Vehicles must park in designated areas only and off-road driving, speeding, or unauthorized vehicle use is prohibited.

     

    • Open flames and campfires are allowed only in designated areas and are subject to all applicable provincial fire bans.


    • Fire exits and emergency routes must remain clear.


    • Renters are responsible for obtaining any required provincial park pass.


    • Pets are not permitted. This does not apply to service animals.


    • Failure to comply with these policies may result in loss of facility privileges, removal of individuals or the entire group, and/or immediate termination of the rental without refund.


    • More that one group may be scheduled concurrently to utilize the facility.


    • Completed rental application forms are required to be submitted a minimum of two weeks in advance of the requested rental dates.


    • Rental bookings are considered tentative until formal approval notification has been issued.


    • All cancellations or adjustments to booking details must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.


    • A $250 non-refundable booking deposit and a $500 refundable damage deposit are due upon receipt of booking confirmation. The remaining balance is due 3-5 business days prior to arrival.


    • Good Spirit Bible Camp has insurance for their facility, activities and staff members; however, Good Spirit Bible Camp cannot be responsible for accidents incurred by our guest groups. Therefore, groups are expected to provide accident and liability insurance that will cover their group participants and leaders.
