Young Business Person of the Year 2026

APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligibility Criteria

· Must be 35 years old or younger as of the application deadline

· Must have achieved notable success within their industry

· Must live and work in Townsville

· Must have made a positive impact on the city of Townsville

· Must be a financial member of the Townsville Chamber of Commerce

Nomination

· Individuals can self-nominate or be nominated by others

· Complete the nomination form with all required details

Supporting Documentation

· Provide a resume detailing your career history and achievements

· Include a letter of recommendation from a professional colleague or mentor

· Submit any relevant documents or media showcasing your work and achievements (e.g., press articles, awards, project summaries)

Application Form

· Fill out the application form completely and accurately. Incomplete applications will not be considered

Deadline

· All applications must be received by 10am, Friday 22nd May 2026. Late applications will not be considered

Selection Process

· A panel of judges from the Townsville Chamber of Commerce membership will review all applications

· Shortlisted companies may be contacted for additional information

· Finalists will be announced at an event on 24th June 2026

· The winner will be announced at the annual awards ceremony Friday 24th July 2026
