TRIAL
Our trial sessions are designed to be friendly, welcoming, and pressure-free so athletes can experience what Comets is all about. During the session, athletes join in with a class where they will take part in warm-ups, stretching, basic tumbling, jumps, and beginner stunt work appropriate to their age and ability. This allows our coaches to gently assess their current skill level while ensuring they feel comfortable and included. Trials also give athletes and parents the opportunity to see how we train, meet the coaching team, and experience the supportive, team-focused environment that makes Comets special. Following the trial, we will recommend the most suitable class or squad to support the athlete’s development and enjoyment of the sport. No experience is necessary
INFORMATION
Your child should wear comfortable sports clothing, trainers, and socks, and bring a drink of water. Parents are welcome to stay and watch the first session if that helps your child feel more at ease. There is also a café on site if you’d prefer to wait there during the class. The trial session is £5. This can be paid either in cash or as a bank transfer upon arrival, whichever is easiest. We train at Byrne Ave Baths, Rock Ferry, CH42 4PQ.
