    This year's conference will include 2 tracks, each of which will have designated breakout sessions. Please select one of the two program tracks offered for this event. You may attend a breakout session outside of your chosen track if you find the session description better fits your experience level. All participants will join together for plenary sessions, regardless of track selection. If you are unsure which track is the best fit, feel free to reach out to EEC staff (eec.training@illinois.gov) before completing your registration.

  • Track A – Emerging Ethics Officers / Foundations Track  
    This track is designed for attorneys, compliance professionals, administrators, and public servants who have ethics responsibilities as part of their broader role. This track focuses on core ethics concepts, legal requirements, practical application, reporting obligations, and training requirements. Ideal for attendees who are newer to ethics-related duties or seeking a stronger understanding of ethics processes and best practices.

    Track B – Experienced Ethics Officers / Advanced Track 
    This track is designed for experienced attorneys, compliance professionals, administrators, and public servants who regularly manage, advise on, or lead ethics-related functions within their organization or who have ethics responsibilities as part of their broader role. This track features deeper discussion on complex ethical issues, culture and leadership, policy interpretation, and emerging challenges in public-sector ethics. Ideal for attendees seeking strategic insights, peer collaboration, and advanced application of ethical practices.
