Purpose

This form is to facilitate nominations from individuals seeking appointment by the Board to casual vacancies on Capital Football Standing Advisory Committees and Region Councils, in accordance with Clause 10.2 of Capital Football By-Law 1. 

Current composition and vacancies are as follows:

1. Junior League Standing Advisory Committee – 3 members, at least 2 vacancies
2. Community Leagues Standing Advisory Committee – 5 members (up to 7 with Board approval)
3. Premier League Standing Advisory Committee – 6 members (up to 7 with Board approval)
4. Referee Standing Advisory Committee - 7 members, no vacancies
5. South Region Council – 4 members, no vacancies
6. North Region Council – 1 member, 3 vacancies

Nomination

Eligible applicants must meet the requirements outlined in the relevant section of Capital Football By-Laws and complete this self-nomination form.

Vacancies are currently available for appointment through to 31 October 2026. These appointments are for a limited interim term only.

Nominations for the subsequent two-year appointment period will open in August 2026.

Process

Eligible submissions will be reviewed by Capital Football Management and submitted to the Board for final approval. The Board reserves the right not to appoint any applicant if no suitable applicants are identified.

Nominations close 10:00am Tuesday 16 June 2026.

As per Capital Football Policy, all members of Standing Advisory Committees and Regional Councils must hold and maintain a current and valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration for the duration of their term.

• Acknowledge that, if nominating for a Regional Council position, I will become a Member of Capital Football and agree to be bound by Clause 3.10 of the ACT Football Federation Limited Constitution.
