Who is eligible for a Crisis Accommodation Stay?
- Clients identifying as women from 16 years of age
- Clients under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years and above
- Accompanying minors - Boys up to age 10 years
Clients must be experiencing Domestic, Family and/ or Sexual Violence and meet the following high risk criteria below:
- Person has experienced serious physical injuries
- Client has a Police reported DFSV case or Domestic Violence Order
- Client meets Mandatory reporting criteria (meaning Risk Assessment is High)
- There is no other family support and nowhere safe to stay
- A child has witnessed DFSV, or we believe a child is being or has been harmed or abused

WE ARE NOT A HOMELESS SHELTER
A woman is NOT eligible for a Crisis Accommodation Stay:
Low risk situations, including things like:
- Humbug / arguments over food, drugs, domestic duties
- Family disagreements
- Non- life threatening DFSV Behaviour
Mental health clients do not meet our service criteria if presenting with:
- Suicidal Ideation
- Actively Self-harming
- Is violent towards staff or community members
- Displaying signs of a critical mental health episode
- Complex mental health conditions
