Mobile Arts Council Youth Drumming Workshop with LaDarrell Bell and Wayne Curtis at Spring Hill College

Join Mobile Arts Council at Spring Hill College for this one day workshop designed for our young artists led by Ladarrel Bell and Wayne Curtis. LaDarrel is the first female member of The Excelsior Band and Wayne brings his knowledge and expertise from the Africatown Drummers organization. During this workshop participants will build their very own drum, learn the history behind the music and enjoy playing their handmade instruments. This free members workshop is brought to you by Amp Up Arts and Mobile Arts Council in partnership with Spring Hill College and sponsored by Alabama Folklife Association.
