Puerto Rico Leadership Retreat | February 2027
Space to Lead is limited to 12 Participants. Our goal is to build a cohort of leaders who are genuinely ready to do the work and who will contribute to the quality of the experience for everyone.

Participants can depart at the end of Day 3 or extend their stay (there is a fee for additional nights of lodging).

Deposit Agreement:
- A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required, your registration is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
- The balance of your program fee is due on or before November 4, 2026 (90 days prior to the retreat). Failure to submit full payment by this date may result in forfeiture of your spot without refund of the deposit.
- The deposit and balance are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your may transfer your registration to another qualified individual of your choosing, or you may donate your spot through the NH Center for Equity and Justice, which will identify a deserving candidate to fill your seat. All transfers and donations must be communicated in writing to The Mars Hill Group no later than January 5, 2027. Donated sessions are subject to approval by The Mars Hill Group to ensure cohort fit.
- If The Mars Hill Group cancels or postpones the retreat for any reason, registered participants will either receive a full refund of all payments made or a full credit applied toward a future Space to Lead cohort, at the participant's election.

Liability Waiver and Release

This Liability Waiver and Release ("Waiver") is entered into by the participant identified in this registration form ("Participant") and The Mars Hill Group, operated by Jermaine Moore ("Organizer"), in connection with participation in the Space to Lead Puerto Rico Leadership Retreat scheduled for February 2-5, 2027, with retreat programming on February 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Description of Activities

Participant acknowledges that Space to Lead involves activities that include but are not limited to the following:
- Indoor and outdoor leadership sessions, workshops, and group discussions
  Sessions held at a private residential property in the rainforest mountains of Puerto Rico, which includes uneven terrain, natural water features, tropical vegetation, wildlife, and varying weather conditions
- Optional breathwork and stretching sessions
- A group outing or activity on Day 2 of the retreat, which may include but is not limited to hiking, beach activities, water activities, golf, spa treatments, or other outdoor or recreational experiences
- Travel between lodging, session venues, and activity locations by personal or shared vehicle
- Meals prepared by third-party vendors or catering providers
Assumption of Risk

Participant acknowledges that participation in the retreat and its associated activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury from outdoor terrain or activities, illness, allergic reactions, adverse weather conditions, and transportation-related incidents. Participant voluntarily assumes all such risks, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen.

Participant confirms that they are in sufficient physical and mental health to participate in the retreat activities. Participant agrees to inform the Organizer in advance of any medical conditions, physical limitations, or other circumstances that may affect their participation or the safety of others.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in Space to Lead, Participant, on behalf of themselves and their heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby releases, waives, discharges, and holds harmless The Mars Hill Group, Jermaine Moore, Erin Moore, and any affiliated vendors, property owners, guides, or contractors (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or causes of action arising out of or relating to participation in the retreat, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Medical Authorization

In the event of a medical emergency, Participant authorizes the Organizer to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on their behalf if the Participant is unable to do so themselves. Participant agrees to provide accurate emergency contact information in this registration form.

Photo and Video Consent

The Mars Hill Group may document portions of the retreat through photography or video for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials. Please indicate your preference below.

Confidentiality

Participant acknowledges that retreat sessions involve personal sharing by fellow participants. Participant agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information shared by other participants during the retreat and will not disclose such information to any third party without that participant's consent.

Governing Law

This Waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Any disputes arising from this Waiver or the retreat shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation between the parties.

By signing below, Participant confirms that they have read and understood this Waiver in its entirety, that they are signing it freely and voluntarily, that they are 18 years of age or older, and that they agree to be bound by its terms.
