Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that the Berrong-Oakley House is an active historic restoration site. I acknowledge that participation in this hardhat tour involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, uneven surfaces, debris, construction materials, tools, limited-access areas, dust, and other environmental conditions and other hazards commonly associated with construction and historic preservation work. I understand that the property is currently not ADA accessible.

I voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with participation in this tour.

Release and Waiver of Liability
In consideration of being allowed to participate in the Berrong-Oakley House Hardhat Tour, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the following entities from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action:
-The Towns County Historical Society
-The City of Hiawassee
-Their respective officers, board members, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents

This release includes any claims arising from injury, illness, property damage, or loss that may occur as a result of participation in the tour, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Safety Agreement
I agree to:
-Follow all instructions provided by tour guides and staff
-Wear any required safety equipment
-Remain within designated tour areas
-Exercise caution at all times

I understand that failure to follow safety guidelines may result in removal from the tour.
 
 
Photo and Media Consent
I grant permission to the Towns County Historical Society and the City of Hiawassee to take photographs and/or video recordings of me during the tour. I understand that these images may be used for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, publications, and fundraising materials.

I waive any right to inspect or approve the final use of such images and release all claims related to their use.

Medical Consent
In the event of an emergency, I authorize tour organizers to seek medical assistance on my behalf if necessary.
