Runner Information

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: I acknowledge that participating in a run/walk event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather (including heat), traffic conditions, and the condition of the course. I understand that these risks may result in serious injury. I voluntarily choose to participate in this event and assume all risks associated with my participation. RELEASE & WAIVER: In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release and discharge the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce, its officers, directors, staff, volunteers, sponsors, partners, and any affiliated organizations from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, illness, damage, or loss that I may sustain as a result of my participation. MEDICAL CONSENT: I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event. I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the event, and I agree to be responsible for any associated costs. CODE OF CONDUCT: I agree to follow all event rules, instructions, and safety guidelines. I understand that event organizers reserve the right to remove any participant who acts in an unsafe or inappropriate manner. PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE: I grant permission to the Sacramento Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and its partners to use photographs, video, or other media taken during the event for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation. REFUND POLICY: I understand that all registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated by the event organizers. MINOR PARTICIPANTS (For participants under 18 years of age) I, as the parent or legal guardian, consent to the minor’s participation and agree to all terms of this waiver on their behalf. ACKNOWLEDGMENT: By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver.
