    HCI's "Global Humanitarian Youth Fellowship"
  • Thank you for your interest in applying to the inaugural cohort of HCI Global Humanitarian Youth Fellowship.

This program brings together Muslim youth from across the country who are eager to grow, contribute, and lead. We recognize that leadership emerges from many different life experiences. Some applicants may have had access to strong academic, leadership, or extracurricular opportunities that allowed them to flourish. Others may have faced barriers that required resilience, sacrifice, and determination to navigate. Both journeys are valued here.

As a humanitarian organization, HCI exists to serve communities impacted by crisis, poverty, displacement, and climate-related challenges around the world. Our work is rooted in empowering those who have been tested by hardship while also mobilizing those who have the capacity and opportunity to lead. HCI Global Humanitarian Youth Fellowship reflects that same spirit. We are intentionally building a cohort that includes youth who have benefited from opportunity and youth who have had to overcome obstacles, because meaningful leadership is strengthened when diverse lived experiences come together.

This program is an opportunity to engage deeply with the Islamic tradition of service and philanthropy, develop practical leadership skills, and contribute to shaping the future direction of HCI’s humanitarian work. We are looking for sincerity, growth potential, commitment to community, and a desire to serve.

There are no “perfect” applicants. We value honesty, lived experience, and the willingness to grow

    Application Deadline: April 30, 2026
