  • Grant Information:

  • Senior Housing Relief for Elders is dedicated to improving access to quality housing and offering relief to seniors in their communities. To alleviate the financial burden seniors face when transitioning into senior living communities, we are pleased to introduce the Senior Living Community Micro-Grant, with up to $1,500 per senior available to alleviate moving-in costs.

  • Objective:

    1. Provide financial assistance to seniors who wish to move into senior living communities but face financial constraints.

    2. Enhance the quality of life for seniors by ensuring they reside in communities tailored to their unique needs.
  • Eligibility Criteria

    1. Applicants must be seniors aged 65 years or older

    2. Applicants must move into an assisted or independent living community within 60 days of applying for the grant or already reside in an assisted or independent living community.

    3. The applicant must agree to provide any follow-up information regarding the information submitted as part of the application process.
  • Terms & Conditions:

    1. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to the availability of funds.

    2. Recipients may only receive this grant once within 12 months.

    3. Funds cannot be transferred, deferred, or exchanged for other services or cash.

    4. Grants will be disbursed directly to the senior living community on behalf of the grant recipient.
