• 2026-2027 Theatre Booster Board Application

  • All Board Members are expected to:

    • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize the best interests of Steinbrenner Theatre as a whole over personal interests, including those that may benefit their own child, when participating in votes and board decisions.
    • Represent both themselves and Steinbrenner Theatre in a consistently positive and professional manner.
    • Actively support the faculty and students of Steinbrenner Theatre.
    • Collaborate effectively with fellow board members to achieve decisions that serve the overall success of the program.
    • Maintain timely and professional communication by responding promptly to messages and emails.
    • Uphold ethical standards both on and off campus; this includes, but is not limited to, refraining from illegal activities, inappropriate conduct, or actions such as providing alcohol to minors.
    • Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in removal from the board.

    President

    Summer

    • Complete the Parent Booster USA Tax Wizard annually to maintain current 501(c)(3) nonprofit status.
    • Renew organizational insurance policies in a timely manner.
    • Ensure HBC schools are added to the insurance policy each year, as required.
    • Submit and maintain all required Facilitron documentation to secure approval for use of school facilities, including meetings, performances, and after-school activities.

    School Year

    • Develop meeting agendas and preside over monthly booster meetings.
    • Serve as a co-signer on the organization’s bank account.
    • Provide monthly bank statements to school administration in a timely manner.
    • Support and contribute to large-scale projects as needed.
    • Assist with communication and coordination with the school district regarding major projects (e.g., trailer, cyc, microphones).
    • Provide ongoing support to Mr. Brady as needed.
    • Assist Mr. Brady with all FTC planning and coordination efforts.
    • Support the Holiday and Banquet Coordinator Chair as needed.
    • Collaborate closely with the Vice President and Director of Operations, offering assistance where needed.
    • Provide guidance and support to all board positions as needed.
    • Assist with concessions operations, including credit card transactions and ticket scanning, as required.
    • Attend all monthly meetings and designated build days.

     Vice President

    • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses to support program initiatives.
    • Coordinate donations, discounts, and sponsorships, particularly for meals during build days and tech weeks.
    • Organize and manage all food provisions for cast and crew during tech week.
    • Collaborate with the Meal Coordinator Chair to communicate and fulfill program needs.
    • Leverage established business relationships to reduce costs on necessary items (e.g., storage shed).
    • Support the management of the organization’s social media accounts.
    • Provide assistance to the President as needed.
    • Provide support to Mr. Brady as needed.
    • Assist with concessions each show night.
    • Attend all monthly meetings and designated build days.

    Director of Operations

    • Effectively manages timelines and consistently meets deadlines.
    • Collaborates with the Student Publicity Chair to design and order promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and banners.
    • Designs and orders apparel, including show shirts, district polos, and booster shirts.
    • Designs and orders show patches for jackets.
    • Coordinates orders for Steinbrenner Theatre jackets.
    • Organizes photography services for productions.
    • Arranges videography for shows as needed.
    • Manages and maintains the online ticketing platform for all productions.
    • Works with the student program manager as needed to create programs for productions
    • Communicates with the printing company to order programs.
    • Reviews sponsorship packages for each program to confirm all ads, tickets, banners, and related materials are included and properly fulfilled according to sponsorship level.
    • Provides support to the President on various projects as needed.
    • Assist with concessions each show night.
    • Attends all monthly meetings and designated build days.

    Secretary

    • Serve as the primary communicator for Steinbrenner Booster Members, providing clear and timely updates on events, shows, performances, and volunteer opportunities within the Steinbrenner Theatre Troupe.
    • Accurately record and maintain minutes for all Steinbrenner Booster meetings, distributing them to members on a monthly basis.
    • Maintain and organize all official records and important files for the Steinbrenner Booster organization.
    • Support promotion of social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Band, and Instagram.
    • Assist the Volunteer Coordinator Chair with volunteer sign-ups and coordination as needed.
    • Assist the Meal Coordinator Chair with meal sign-ups and related tasks as needed.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in professional email communication, ensuring that information regarding dates, times, and program details is conveyed clearly and effectively to support Booster operations.
    • Assist with concessions each show night.
    • Attend all monthly meetings and designated build days.

    Treasurer

    • Maintain detailed records of all income and expenses, including collecting and organizing receipts and invoices for all disbursements.
    • Serve as a co-signer on the Steinbrenner Theatre Club Booster bank account.
    • Prepare and present monthly financial reports at Booster meetings.
    • Generate post-production financial reports comparing actual income and expenses to projected budgets.
    • Communicate with sponsors or parents regarding outstanding payments and issue invoices as needed.
    • Process payments to vendors and manage bill disbursements.
    • Support fundraising efforts by assisting with form creation and coordinating with the Student Fundraising Chair as necessary.
    • Assist with the online ticketing platform as needed.
    • Assist with concessions operations, including credit card transactions and cash transactions
    • Attend all monthly meetings and designated build days.

    Committee Chair Positions (Do not have to attend all board meetings and build days. Non voting member.)

    Volunteer Coordinator Chair

    • Create and manage sign-ups for concessions and volunteer opportunities.
    • Maintain organization and inventory of the Booster storage area.
    • Track concession sales and remaining stock after each production.
    • Collaborate with the board to determine concession items for sale.
    •  Oversee setup and teardown operations for each show night.
    • Train and guide volunteers to ensure smooth operations during productions.

    Holiday & Banquet Chair

    • Support Thespian Officers in planning and organizing the holiday party.
    • Assist Thespian Officers with all aspects of banquet planning, including selecting location, scheduling date, coordinating food, and arranging décor.

    Meal Coordinator Chair

    • Coordinate the ordering and delivery of food for all Build Days.
    • Organize the delivery and service of meals during Tech Weeks.
