Greenhill mourns the passing of Joseph “Joe” Gonzales, a beloved Greenhill legend whose 35 years on the Hill (1965–2000) forever shaped our community. A Spanish teacher, department chair, advocate, mentor, and the school’s first Director of Financial Aid and Director of Diversity, Joe’s deep care, steadfast advocacy, and quiet leadership opened doors for countless students and helped Greenhill become the school it was meant to be.

We hope you will join us as we gather to remember Joe, honor his extraordinary legacy, and celebrate a life that touched generations of students, colleagues, and friends.
