    INFORMATION FOR WORKSHOP OPERATORS 

    We're thrilled to be planting the seeds for a brand-new workshop and experience series at the 2026 Tulip Time Festival! This exciting new addition will see the festival blossom beyond the garden beds, inviting visitors to stop, smell the flowers and get hand-on with a range of creative, immersive and educational experiences. 

    Council is inviting local providers from creatives and growers to educators and small businesses, to help us cultivate a vibrant program of workshops, demonstrations and small group experiences, all hosted within our onsite activation space throughout the festival. 

    This new series is designed to complement the colourful spirit of Tulip Time, celebrating creativity, nature, sustainability and community connection. We warmly welcome Expression of Interest from providers offering experiences aligned with the festival's floral theme, including (but not limited to):

    • Painting & creative arts
    • Floral design & flower arranging
    • Gardening & vegetable growing workshops
    • Speaker talks or live demonstrations
    • Children's activities & hands-on learning
    • Cooking or edible experiences inspired by flowers or seasonal produce
    • Wellbeing, nature-based for sustainability-focused sessions
    • Yoga sessions

     

    This is a wonderful opportunity for local providers to showcase their talents, cross-pollinate with new audiences and help create an even more memorable experience at one of the region's most iconic springtime celebrations.

    Important Details to Note Before You Apply 

     Before submitting your Expression of Interest, please take a moment to look through the following requirements for hosting a workshop at Corbett Gardens during Tulip Time:

    • Tulip Time will run from Friday 11 September to Monday 5 October 2026
    • The festival blooms daily from 9.30am - 4.30pm, with extended hours until 5:30pm on Friday 2, Satruday 3 & Sunday 4 October.
    • Workshops will operate Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th weekend
    • Your workshop space will be located in the Senior Citizens Building within Corbett Gardens
    • Successful operators must be prepared to trolley goods and stock into the gardens, vehicles not permitted onsite without prior approval from the Events Team
    • Parking is not provided for workshop operators
    • Operators are required to leave the space as fresh as they found it, clearing the room and removing all refuse after each session
    • Ticket pricing will be negotiated as part of the EOI process.

    Workshop Expression of Interest Terms

    • Completion of this online form is an Expressions of Interest to participate as a workshop operator at the Tulip Time Flower Festival.
    • Submission of this online form does not guarantee the workshop operator a space at the Tulip Time Flower Festival in 2026. 
    • All workshop operators must hold current Public Liability Insurance (with a minimum of $20 million in coverage) and a certificate of currency must be attached to this submission to be considered.
