Legacy of Hope provides emergency-level support to cancer patients and their families in Philadelphia, Camden, and Delaware County. Every day, hospital social workers refer families who are going without basic essentials, have exhausted all other resources, and have nowhere else to turn.
The need is immediate and ongoing. Right now, we are rapidly expanding the Emergency Patient Support Network to meet these urgent referrals. Virtually any skill can be put to meaningful use—whether you’re an attorney, accountant, electrician, general contractor, or bring experience in logistics, communication, coordination, data entry, delivery, client support, or virtually any other area. If you’re ready to help people in genuine crisis, your time and abilities can make a direct, tangible difference in the lives of patients and families who have run out of options.
