Jones and Perry Exterior Cleaning – Terms & Conditions
1. Definitions
“Company” refers to Jones and Perry Exterior Cleaning.
“Customer” refers to any individual, company, or organisation who requests a quote, books services, or allows the Company to carry out work.
“Services” refers to all exterior cleaning work, including but not limited to window cleaning, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and related tasks.
2. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are based on the information provided at the time of booking. The Company reserves the right to amend pricing where the actual work differs materially from the original description, including but not limited to property size, condition, or access restrictions.
Minimum service charges may apply.
3. Payment Term
Payment is due upon completion of the Services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
The Company accepts cash, bank transfer, and card payments.
Late payments may result in additional charges.
4. Access & Preparation
The Customer must ensure safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring service. This includes unlocking gates, removing obstacles, and securing pets.
If access is not available at the agreed time, the Company reserves the right to charge a call-out fee.
5. Weather Conditions
Services may be postponed or rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, strong winds, or freezing temperatures.
The Company will rearrange appointments as soon as reasonably practicable.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Late cancellations may incur a charge.
7. Liability & Damage
The Company will take all reasonable care in carrying out the Services.
However, the Company shall not be liable for:
Pre-existing defects or damage (including but not limited to loose window seals, damaged gutters, cracked render, or deteriorated surfaces)
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, deterioration, or poor installation
Any issues that arise as a result of underlying structural weaknesses revealed during cleaning
The Customer should notify the Company of any damage or concerns within 24 hours of service completion where reasonably practicable. The Company may not be able to investigate or accept claims reported after this period unless there is a valid reason for delay.
8. Health & Safety
The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue work where conditions are deemed unsafe. This includes, but is not limited to, restricted access, unsafe structures, or hazardous environments.
9. Gutter Cleaning Disclaimer
While every effort is made to clear gutters and downpipes, the Company cannot guarantee full water flow where there are underlying structural issues.
The Company is not responsible for hidden blockages or internal pipe defects.
10. Pressure Washing Disclaimer
Pressure washing may expose or worsen pre-existing damage, including loose pointing, cracks, or surface wear.
The Company shall not be liable for such outcomes where surfaces are already compromised.
11. Regular Service Agreements
Customers on a recurring service schedule (e.g. 4-weekly or 8-weekly) agree to ongoing Services unless cancelled with reasonable notice.
12. Photography & Marketing
The Company may take before-and-after photographs of completed work for quality control and marketing purposes.
Such images may be used on the Company’s website, social media platforms, and promotional materials.
No personally identifiable information (including names, addresses, or house numbers) will be used without the Customer’s explicit consent.Customers who do not wish their property to be photographed must inform the Company in writing prior to the Service being carried out.
13. Complaints
The Company aims to provide a high-quality service.Any concerns should be raised within 24 hours so they can be addressed promptly and fairly.
14. Changes to TermsThe Company
reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be made available upon request or via the Company’s usual communication channels.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By requesting a quote, booking Services, or permitting work to be carried out, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Where these Terms & Conditions are provided via a website link, social media page, or in writing, it is the Customer’s responsibility to review them prior to the commencement of work.
