Welcome to our Matrix Youth Summer Camp pre-registration held at the Matrix Center located at 13560 E. McNichols Detroit, MI 48205.

Program Dates: Monday, June 22 to Thursday, August 13, 2026

Program Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Limited before and after camp support is availabile; please discuss with your Matrix Youth Counselor during the intake meeting.

Grades Served: Youth entering 6th, 7th, 8th, or 9th Grade in Fall 2026

100% FREE for families!!

- Literacy and math instruction

By signing below, you acknowledge that your child is expected to attend summer camp daily. In the event of any absence—scheduled or unscheduled—you are required to notify us via email at yapservices@matrixhs.org or by texting 313-938-0187. Youth that exceed two absences without written notification will be automatically disenrolled from the program.

Please note: Along with assessments, your child will be asked to complete a post-survey after the program so that we can evaluate any program-related successes and challenges this year in order to continue to improve Summer Discovery to best serve all students and families. No further action is required to provide consent for your child to participate. If you would prefer that your child not participate, please notify yapservices@matrixhs.org confirming you would like to opt-out of student surveys.
